About Lifebank

Jeff Loewenstein, the originator, Founder and CEO of LifeBank was a barrister for almost 50 years, specialising in Wills and Estates and commercial matters.

It was through the work in his practice that he saw how people were regularly financially and emotionally challenged because they did not know where documents were located, how to gain access to bank accounts and credit cards, what insurances existed, the extent of what superannuation they had in place, details of their investments and so on.

Additionally, Jeff was confronted with his wife’s serious illness. He used LifeBank frequently during this time and armed with the ability to access and have to hand all medical details relating to his wife’s treatment, he was able readily, and easily, “work” with hospitals and clinicians. The hospitals and medicos loved having important information available to them so quickly. It was a win-win situation for both patient and hospital / clinician.

From this, LifeBank™ was born.
